The Mijia Smart Electric Blanket (Single Model) is now crowdfunding in China — a connected, voice-controlled blanket designed to keep you warm, clean, and well-rested.
Smarter sleep comfort
Sized for a single bed at 1.8 x 0.8 meters, the blanket uses 80W of power through ultra-thin, nearly invisible heating wires layered inside a triple insulation system. Its soft polyester fabric and filling promise comfort without bulk, while intelligent sensors adjust the blanket’s heat in real time for optimal sleep temperature through the night.
App control and automation
The blanket comes with a physical remote featuring a large display, but the real magic lies in Xiaomi’s Mijia app. Users can set custom heating schedules, integrate it with other smart home devices, or control it hands-free using Xiao AI voice commands — simply say “turn on the blanket” before bedtime.
It even includes a high-temperature drying mode that removes mites and dehumidifies your mattress, ideal for humid or allergy-prone environments.

Crowdfunding backers on Xiaomi Youpin can pledge CNY 179 (≈$25), with shipping starting October 24. The blanket’s full retail price will be CNY 239 (≈$34).
While Xiaomi hasn’t announced international availability yet, the Mijia Smart Electric Blanket could easily appeal to global users — especially those already using Xiaomi’s growing smart home ecosystem.
