Casio’s Oceanus line has long been about balance — between precision and artistry, technology and soul.
The new Oceanus “Calm Night” Limited Edition captures that balance perfectly, turning the quiet glow of a moonlit sea into a wearable piece of craftsmanship and innovation.

A tribute to moonlight and Japanese artistry

The “Calm Night” collection introduces two models — the OCW-S7000CN-1AJF and the OCW-SG1000CN-1AJR — both under the Oceanus Manta family. Each one celebrates the centuries-old art of Edo Kiriko glass cutting, executed by master artisan Toru Horiguchi.

Their sapphire bezels are hand-carved with intricate geometric patterns that shimmer like reflections across calm water. The result isn’t just decoration — it’s movement, light, and craftsmanship alive on the wrist.

OCW-S7000CN-1AJF: elegance in motion

The first model features a “Thousand Lines” sapphire bezel, where fine cuts scatter light into subtle blue hues depending on the angle. The black DLC-coated titanium case and bracelet evoke the depth of the night sky, while the matte dial mimics the texture of lunar soil.

Inside, Casio’s Tough Solar movement powers Bluetooth connectivity, MULTIBAND6 radio control, and world time for 27 cities — all within a sleek, 9.8mm-thin titanium frame that weighs just 81 grams.

OCW-SG1000CN-1AJR: a collector’s moonlight

Limited to 600 units worldwide, this flagship model elevates the theme further with a “Senjiku” bezel pattern — 24 individually polished sapphire facets transitioning from black to silver via vapor deposition. The play of shadow and reflection mirrors moonlight itself.

Its case back features a laser-engraved moon emblem, while the crescent-shaped solar cell under the date window enhances light absorption without disrupting design symmetry. Every detail — from the dual-curved sapphire crystal to the slide-adjust titanium clasp — reflects the meticulous spirit of Japanese watchmaking.

A quiet evolution of the Oceanus identity

The OCW-S7000CN is priced at ¥308,000 (around $2,023), while the limited OCW-SG1000CN retails for ¥682,000 (around $4,480). Both arrive in November 2025, each presented in a collector’s box worthy of its craftsmanship.

While Casio remains globally recognized for its rugged G-Shock series, the Oceanus line has evolved into its stage for refinement — where technology enhances elegance rather than overshadows it.

In an age dominated by digital wearables, the Calm Night Edition stands as a quiet reminder that true innovation can still feel human. It’s not about specs or screens — it’s about how light, material, and tradition can turn timekeeping into art.
